Hob installation
D Cut out the worktop with the cut--out size as sta-
ted. The toleranced sizes must not be exceeded..
Saw exactly at the marking line. Recommenda-
tion: Mark the cut--out with a steel needle.Cover--
glue the line in order to avoid splintering of the
coating when cutting.
D With tiled worktops the grooves within the contact
area of the cooking area must completely be filled
up with groove material.
D Clean the worktop in the cut--out section
D From the top lay the cooking area into the cutou-
tand adjust concentrically.
D 4 holes in the bottom of the build--in case are pro-
vided for the screws of the fitting plates.
D At first screw on the fitting plates by a screwdriver
and afterwards regularly tighten the plates alter-
natively and diagonally offset, until the frame of
the cooking area is perfectly laying on the work-
top.
D A too strong and one--sided tightening is to be
avoided! Electric screwdrivers or pusher air-
screws to be exclusively used with slip clutch (set-
ting value 1 -- 1.1 Nm).4
D Check the seal in the supporting frame for perfect
seating and gapless support. Please do not apply
further silicone sealing matter as this will compli-
cate the removal of the hob if servicing is neces-
sary.
